Tänzer / Darsteller

Johannes Schmidt schloss 2009 an der Palucca Hochschule für Tanz Dresden mit Diplom in Bühnentanz sein Studium ab und begann danach als Eleve an der Semperoper Dresden. Mittlerweile ist er Demi Solist und kreiert neben seiner Arbeit beim Semper Opern Ballet eigene Stücke, die er unter anderem im Rahmen des „Junge Choreographen“ Formats präsentierte. Er wirkte bei der Produktion „clean me“ in 2016 und bei „in a row“ in 2017 mit. Seit 2017 studiert er Theater-Regie an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. 

Dancer / Performer

He finished his studies at the Palucca School Dresden in 2009. He started at an Eleve at the Semper Oper Ballet in the same year. Meanwhile he is demi principal dancer at the Semper Oper Ballet. Besides his work at the opera, he is creating his own work, which he’s presenting in different formats like „Young Choreographers“ at the Gläserne Manufactory Dresden or LINIE08 at HELLERAU – European Centre for the Arts Dresden. He worked with us for the productions „clean me“ in 2016 and „in a row“ in 2017. Since 2017 he is studying Theatre-Director at the University for the Arts, Zürich, Switzerland.
